Couple of problems with your theory...

As Ferris Buhler found out, Odo's don't go backwards in reverse

Since the odometer on the Supra is a million mile odometer; if you set a
drill so the speedo was doing say 120 MPH it would take 8333.33 hours or 347
days to roll the odometer (now you can visualize how much a million is)

If you did this most likely the trip odometer wouldn't last that long.

Its possible, some people hook the cable up to a drill and lock it to the on

position until you get the actual miles.
I dont see anything wrong with it unless your trying to fool a buyer.
