Check the coolant level in your radiator as well!!!

BTW, I've found owner's manuals for sale on eBay several times.  Just gotta search for 1987 Supra owners manual and you should get a few hits.

That is a relief.  I knew that was low (still have not run it more than 
a moment, or two after the rebuild).  I thought there was something 
serious going on.
Still, I would like to find a copy of the owners manual.  The guy I got 
it from lost it 'years ago'.
