I haven't experienced it yet on the supra but my 240Z used to draw in exhaust from the rear hatch with the windows cracked or down until I replaced the worn rubber gaskets around the hatch door.

Subject: [Supras] Question about Exhaust fumes in cabin!
Since the weather has been nice in Tampa lately, I've been driving with my
windows down or sometimes just the sunroof opened all the way. Every once
in a while, I can smell exhaust fumes inside the car mostly when
driving.....I know it's not coming from the cars in front of me. I believe
it's coming from my own car.
I had to top up the coolant overflow tank just a tiny bit yesterday and
noticed the smell of the coolant in the overflow tank was the same as the
fumes inside the cabin. I can't describe the smell but sometimes i'm
thinking it's gasoline. I opened the hood after I got home and the smell is
coming mostly from the driver side of the engine. That confuses me more
since I suspect the manifold gasket leak. The only exhaust leak I suspect is
the exhaust manifold gasket.....I notice some white spots on the engine so I
suspect it's an exhaust manifold leak.
My question is, has anyone experienced this? What else could be causing the
smell?
Thanks
Darren
