Nope.
The gear ratios in the R154 (And the W58, for that matter) aren't bad, as far as 5 speeds go, so you
don't really want to do that anyhow.
What you MIGHT want is to provide a taller rear end, which will effectively reduce all of the gearing.
A 90+ differential from a turbo would be 3.727:1 ratio, which would be taller if compared to a
3.909:1 from an '87 - '89 turbo.
Toyota also made "G" ring differentials in taller ratios as well, though I've no idea what you'd find
them in.
Of course, there's always the poor man's solution to a taller final drive... Larger diameter tires.
