[Supras] Why you should have a fan shroud...

So... I opened my good this afternoon trying to figure out why I keep smelling a weird smell coming from the front of the motor. Turns out that because I am running without a fan shroud that my fan had pulled down the fire proof insulation on the underside of the hood into the fan and it was tearing it up causing a burning smell that I can't even describe. So I have learned my lesson... Time to switch to electric fans. I'de add a fan shroud but I would much rather switch to electric.
