[Supras] Forgotten good news

I assume the plugs were leaking
My 86 Mr2 valley plugs were leaking while the car was still under warranty.
The Toyota store fixed this when they installed new syncros in the
transmission also under warranty (this didn't help and it would grind when I
drove like a jerk).
GM in there infinite wisdom installed iron cylinder liners in the 4100 V8
and used some mix of nuts (I'm not kidding there, the stuff is organic) made
into coolant tabs to seal the block.
Every time I change the coolant I drain out the stuff flush the radiator and
install new tabs. The stuff seals the block and even a small tear that I
didn't notice on the water pump gasket when I changed it.
I would be tempted to use it to seal the valley plugs if mine ever spring a
leak. I have used the tablets since 1991 when I purchased the Allante and I
haven't had a problem.
