[Supras] Disappearing Doors

The side impact of most doors relies on a 1/2" pin and 2 hinges. If the
tracks were designed correctly they would be in theory be stronger

Although people can hurt themselves with anything (Darwin still may be
proven correct :-p) I haven't heard of any cases where people get stuck when
a window goes down.

As to chassis rigidity there are some pictures of their chassis designs that
seem to explain their theory

On the Lincoln looks like you would lose a lot of chassis rigidity without
that center support. And I wonder how it fares against side impact and
safety restraint points too. Plus looks like a law suit when some kid/idiot
gets stuck in the door as it is going down. I would just be happy with
Lambo doors :).
