when i bought the car, previous owner had filter relocation kit installed, but had filter where power steering resevoir was. THAT had to go as the hoses blocked front of turbo. didnt even have room for an air filter. Car luckily came with a MAFT installed on pressurized side so im able to run a small filter directly on turbo until i can figure out how to get some piping that will fit and let me get it at least back to stock air box location or even farther for cold air.

Same filter mount location as you it sounds like. The hoses to the filter block go right through the hole in front of the FIPK which is currently located on the stock AFM, at least for another few days until the MAFT-Pro install in speed density mode :)> > Rockey 91T> > ----- Original Message ----> From: Sean Cavanaugh <millenia2000 at hotmail.com>> To: supras at supras.com> Sent: Tuesday, December 11, 2007 11:53:41 AM> Subject: Re: [Supras] 7mGTE oil filter remval trick> > > installing with the engine in the car is easy, its the turbo that> causes the issues. depending on whether you are just attaching relocater to> stock bracket or matting it straight to block, it can be decently easy> to install. if you remove the bracket to bolt straight to engine,> remember you will lose the stock oil cooler.
