[Supras] Headlight recommendations

Would someone explain how to wire this circuit, or point me to a source or picture that explains it?  
   
  I've been running Marchal H4 55/100w headlamps in my Supra for 12+ years without a relay, but apparently haven't used the high beams enough to melt any wiring.  Thanks.

I second all of that.  Hella E-code H4 lenses, good bulbs, and
direct battery power via relays.
