[Supras] Clutch and flywheel for track use??

I don't remember which list member asked the question about the Fidanza AL flywheel steel insert availability but I just located the replacement steel insert kit for $50 at a local auto parts store and the ACT heavy duty pressure plate with the sprung 6 puck ceramic disk kit for $460. I'll share my results after I'm back in action in a week or two depending on finding adequate time to put it back together.
I like the steel insert idea for the flywheel as it's nearly as cost effective as having the two step stock flywheel resurfaced. FYI, the steel insert is appreciably worn from the metallic surface of the dual friction disk I wore out in about 19 months with a slightly used stock pressure plate that never
seemed to be strong enough to me from the beginning.

What are thoughts on using a heavier PP with the stock disk? I've seen
this available and thought it might be a less costly option.

So far the only steel flywheel I've been able to find for the 7m is the
Ebay units (XTD) I've heard to avoid their clutches but that the FW is
 a
decent unit, any other insight? Most of the clutches I've seen are
 quite
expensive even if they only hold slightly more power than stock so an
upgrading PP may be the best bet for me (haven't found a reasonably
priced heavier PP and moderate disk available)

Thanks,
Brian
