Tom:

Thanks for the response, although I'm a little late in responding.
The epoxy and wire approach was something that did not occur to me,
maybe because my dad was a plumber! I did, however, install a piece of
thin wall copper tubing in the outlet of the Bosch blowoff valve with
epoxy, with the other end of the tubing pushed into the stock nipple on
the accordion hose (with the stock clamp [only atmospheric pressure
there]). As an aside, the Bosch valve was of no use with a 57 trim
CT26. Had to install a Turbonetics Raptor to get rid of surge. Also
had to modify the valve for full opening, but that is a story already
mentioned.

I finally installed the first piece of 2-1/4" steel tubing with the
solder wire beads tonight before a couple of postings to the group. It
replaces the cast elbow in the connection from the turbo outlet to the
intercooler. Installation is not the easiest to do, because of the wire
diameter, but it will hold due to the wire size without the use of T-bar
clamps (limited in size range, problematic as the hose deforms over
time, so I only have one at the turbo outlet). Also made up a clamp
formed from 1/8" strap iron and the gas torch to bolt to the frame
bracket. For now that is the only piece to be installed, since I'm
considering a Spearco upgrade, and since the volume flow is highest at
that point (it is the hottest).

    Bernie
