Acually, I'd love to have that switch for my car, so if you disable it, could I buy the switch off of
you? I want to use it for my aftermarket alarm. (Mk3 Supras in Canada did not come with the TDDS
system.)
The way that this work-around (And it'll work without an aftermarket alarm) does things is tells the
TDDS that the hood is open. All the time. As such it will never arm. The switch should be right
underneath the hood latch.
Alternately though, (And this may be a few mA easier on the electrical system) you can disconnect the
TDDS computer, though this is a lot harder to get to. It's location is on page BE-10 of the TSRM. It
is right underneath and behind the tachometer.
