The fuel pump doesn't deteriorate, it pretty much either works or does not work.  So long 
as it's in good working condition, it should be more than adequate for stock boost, and 
probably moderate upgrades.

I'm running 550cc injecotrs on the GE fuel pump (for now, as I said, I'm upgrading to a 
Walbro as soon as I have a chance to drop the tank) and am not having problems, but I am 
still running stock boost.

Added bost will come when I've worked the bugs out of the system.
