And after you get that cover off that covers the cam gears.  Leave it off.
At lease for a long while until you have sorted all of your engine issues.
Makes working on things super easier.  After that and after market air
filter and the Throttle Body/ISC coolant re-route are your next super time
savers when it comes to tearing things down.

Cam Seals are the likely culprit.

not too hard to replace.

Remove Tstat cover, hose, and upper cover, then remove belt from upper
gears, remove gears, and backing plate.

Seals R there.
