Kitchen stove
$5 pot not used for food
$10 temp sensor on $100 DVM, but could be a $5 thermometer (again
not used for food)
I'm pretty sure the kitchen stove can be reused for food however.
Otherwise you could drop it in a cup of 150F water that feels
REALLY HOT, but won't be enough to open the t-stat.
