[Supras] Odd electrical system issues.

Well, I got the car fired up last night.
Some wierdness with the electrical system.
When the battery is connected, the headlights come on. They don't pop up (though they
will if you turn the switch on, and then they'll go back down (Still turned on) with the
switch off. They will switch from low to high beam if you change the position of the
switch, but they will not shut off.
To me, this seems to be a short to the headlight relay, but I don't see what the engine
swap would have to do with this.
Also, my tach does not work. The plugs from the '87T engine wiring harness seemed to
connect fine into the chassis harness for the '89NA. Does anyone know if these are
wired differently?
My instincts are telling me that these are related, but I can't reason how.
Some differences/similarities in the cars: The '87T had TEMS. My '89NA did not. Both
cars had ABS. My '89NA was an early production model (The motor mounts, for example,
fit perfectly.)
Anyone have ideas?
