I made my own tool. Basically you just need a single-pole double-throw
switch connected with three wires. Connect the common terminal wire to
ground, and the other two to TC and AB. Then switch back and forth every 1
second until the airbag light starts fast blinking. Its pretty simple once
you understand the concept.
You could do it without the switch, but would probably take some dexterity
and practice. The switch makes its easy.

Hi Bob, Joe and all,
Yeah, I looked at the directions for clearing a code 41 on the air bag.
Maybe I should just get a priest to do an exorcism on the air bag ECU. Oh
well, another new bridge to cross. (So many of my bridges are highway
35-like.) I saw that Toyota mentioned a SST part number to bridge the
diagnostic connecter to do this. I went to my dealership and they told me
that number was not in their system. Is this also just a paper clip deal
too, or is it special?
Thanks,
Bill
