[Supras] Air bag diagnostic tool?

Paperclip... wire... anything that works.
Grab some wire and blindly follow the instructions even though they sound
stupid and you're sure they won't work.
After a couple of tries you will figure out what the people who translated
the BGB were thinking and it will make sense... or you will start talking
Japanese...
Either way your light will go out.
Snap On used to make a special adapter for their MT2500 scanner to pull
codes out of Toyotas. It looked official but it was nothing but a male copy
of the diagnostic connector with the two terminals crossed. The scanner
would tell you to count the times the light would flash... great way to
waste $6500. At least it did more on the American Cars...
Most likely this SST was nothing more than a similar version that adapter
that allows you to ground the terminals remotely

Subject: [Supras] Air bag diagnostic tool?
Hi Bob, Joe and all,
Yeah, I looked at the directions for clearing a code 41 on the air bag.
Maybe I should just get a priest to do an exorcism on the air bag ECU. Oh
well, another new bridge to cross. (So many of my bridges are highway
35-like.) I saw that Toyota mentioned a SST part number to bridge the
diagnostic connecter to do this. I went to my dealership and they told me
that number was not in their system. Is this also just a paper clip deal
too, or is it special?
Thanks,
Bill
