I've seen some people asking about this and I just built a CAI for my Supra. YOu could either get custom pipes bent from an exhaust shop, but then if the angle isn't just right, you'll be screwed. Instead, Pep Boys has interchangeable intake piping that is actually quite useful. THey have 3" pipes and 4" pipes. To make the CAI for a turbo is probably going to cost around $50-$60, not too bad, and you can't use the K&N FIPK, you must get a 3" or 4" cone depending on what size piping you use. Yes i said Pep Boys and i hate Pep Boys, but i must admit this piping is pretty handy. Thing is i use the lexus housing so after screwin with it for a couple days i finally got it right. This will work pretty good so i'll describe it w/ an afm and then if you're using the maft.
Supra/Lexus AFM:
3 60 degree bend pipes
1 Vacuum/Sensor pipe
1 MAF sensor adaptor (the one that says it works on the Supra non turbo on the box)
1 Vacuum port connector accessory package
4 3" couplers
6 big hose clamps
**Optional** the Spectre mounting bracket kit
Basically use a 60 degree coming off the turbo, use a coupler here, set the pipe as far back as possible to where you can still clamp the couple down on the turbo housing. THen connect the vacuum/sensor pipe. You'll have to drill out 2 of the holes to make them bigger for the BOV and IAC vacuum line but have faith everything you need comes in the vacuum port package. Then connect another 60 degree bend facing toward the front. Remove the plastic clamp at the end of that pipe and use a couple to go onto the MAF. With the FIPK removed from the other side of the MAF use the MAF adaptor. You'll have to drill new holes in the adapter to match up with the MAF, very easy outside of the car. Make sure the round part of the adaptor is centered over the square part of the MAF. Use the MAF gasket to connect them. Remove the vacuum plug AND grommet from the adaptor and choke the coupler as far back on the adaptor as possible so when you tighten the hose clamp it seals that hole. Put
the cone on the last 60 degree bend and feed the pipe through the hole behind the headlight into the MAF's coupler, tighten and you have a cool looking CAI complete with plastic chrome pipes and cool looking couplers, lol. I used the mounting bracket kit connected to the 2nd 60 degree to keep the assembly fastened tightly, but it's pretty tight without it.
With MAFT Pro:
3 60 degree bend pipes
1 Vacuum/Sensor pipe
6" of straight pipe
1 Vacuum port connector accessory package
2 3" couplers
2 big hose clamps
**Optional** the Spectre mounting bracket kit
Basically the same as above except the 6" of straight piping replaces the MAF. Pep Boyz has a short section of straight piping (i think 2") and a long section (i think 4"). You'll just have to get a long one and a short one, connect them and they replace the section with the MAF. Happy trails!!
