[Supras] felpro head gaskets

I replaced a bhg with a felpro gasket not long after I bought my Toy and it lasted until the rod knock that forced the rebuild. Due to the frequency of BHG reported on the 7M I went with Cometic MHG to hopefully avoid future head gasket replacements but didn't have a failure with the felpro during the couple of years between replacement and rebuild.

Has it been generally noted that felpro gaskets seem to have a fitment issue? 
My current version on the water outlets on the intake side do not match well. The gasket covers at least 30% of the holes. I believe this contributed to my recent bhg episode. Im wondering if this is a incorrect part number or if its common?
