[Supras] mk3 block differences?

I'm afraid of hitting 6k. Shifting at 4k is pushing it for me. I really
don't want somethin to happen my motor. I know for sure though that my motor
can use a balance. When I first bought my supra several years ago when it
had 115k on it, it would redline at about 7k no problem. Since then though I
have had a spun bearring, a BHG, and several turbos.

I thought reliable revs was why they went to the fully counterweighted 7M
crank from the previous 6M crank.
as for balancing, theres nothing keeping the engine from hitting 7k or more
revs with a properly balanced rotating assembly. my NA hit 6500 with no
modifications. You will most likely need aftermarket rods and pistons to hit
really high revs though.
I think I even saw some guy who had a 2JZ that had about a 9k redline
(needless to say he sank some money into building the engine)-Sean
