[Supras] 18" or 19"

I'm going to buy a new set of wheels and I'm on the fence whether to go with 
18" or 19".  I like the look of the 19s but I am concerned about a few 
things such as bending / damage (lots of potholes here in the spring), ride 
quality and potential performance hits (extra weight of the larger rim???).  
Are there any other items I should concern myself about?  I do not race this 
car or anything.

Note that I would be getting 18X8" / 18x9" or 19x8.5" / 19x9.5" and running 
235 front / 275 rear.

88T / 450HP, stock suspension.

Any opinions would be helpful.
