[Supras] Oil temp sensor location?

That makes sense, otherwise you're measuring oil temps on avg. right?
(turbo, cams, etc.) I think this will be more expensive than I thought
but it's important to monitor. Almost seems like you could use a sensor
with the right thread in place of the drain plug, then you'd have good
placement and no additional holes in the pan (unless you don't want to
monitor oil temps at the bottom of the pan?

Relocation kit is the easiest way, if in a rebuild..add it to the pan
for accurate temps.

Oil temps are indicative of bearing temps..and pan temps are the best
place to get those.

I would imagine some of you are using an oil temp gauge. How
have you
connected the sensor? I saw a sandwhich plate at one time but it
did not
use the OEM filter and it seems like moving the filter further
outboard
from the block may make it even more difficult to access than it
	currently is.

Do some of you use a relocation kit that has ports for the
sensor?
