[Supras] dead engine...AGAIN

Depends on how the engine died and what condition it's now in. I tore mine down to the short black and let a local engine builder shop rebuild the bottom end including balancing the rotating assembly. Cost about $1400 with a complete gasket set. I didn't have to bore it as the cylinders were within tolerance. They replaced valve seals, decked the block and head and cleaned up both the intake and exhaust manifold surfaces for that price.
I probably could have found a cheaper way but my personal preference was to do it this way so I had a better idea of what condition the engine was actually in.

well it seems my car killed another engine in it so its down for a while again. I'm now at the point of figuring if its worth buying an import engine for it or just selling the car for parts and trying to get a better condition supra. hard call to make as I've literally torn apart the whole car and put it back together and know it inside and out. I'm looking around for my options on this now
