you cannot use nylon locknets the center will melt out, if you mist use all stainless locknuts or steel locknut, you wont regret it. Use locktite to keep them from coming loose AND at the same time tun either split lock washers ot star lock washers to help the waher bite into the bolt and manifold. As yes replace the upper turbo stay. the studs being
"worn shouldnt be the prob" there could also be a vibration prb int he car or turbo causing a resonance freqiency to vibrate and crack the nuts loose and then back off with ANY vibration.

ok, and second.. once the turbo has been removed and is ready to be reinstalled, can anyone make any suggestion on how to keep the turbo to manifold bolts from coming loose.. it usually works it self loose in a week or so, ive tried loctite but still comes loose... or also, im missing my turbos upper stay could that contribute to the loosening problem? is there a fix for this? could the studs be to warn out? new studs and bolts maybe? or what about nylon locknuts? hmm?

any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks.......
