battery was just bought in january. Optima yellow top. and yes that was with
engine running. it seems i've been running the car for the past 3 days
entirely off the battery (god i love yellow tops) it finally caught up last
night. the LED lights i replaced in the dash were diming every time i hit
the brakes.

its the original alternator from an abused car so i'm going to just replace
it with a new/remaned unit. the pully was a little beat up anyway.
