[Supras] Baffling Problem - 91T

What would cause the automatic shift not to go into any gears - and at the very same time, the tail lights, brake lights and dash lights stopped working ? Any suggestions ? This is truly baffling because all of the above happened at the same time ! BTW, the button on the shifter will not push in to allow me to put the car into gear.
