LOL! You're preaching to the choir!
We had one guy buy a '94 Taurus Wagon. He came back for a burned out
turn signal bulb, windshield wipers and some other minor thing that was
a 30 second fix.
When he came back 3 weeks later with the dirver's window not working,
the boss hit him for the entire $100 deductable (he took the switch and
motor out of another car we were using for parts).
Another guy bought a 4WD F350, with a few minor things wrong. He told
the boss, "don't worry, I'll fix those myself". About 3 weeks later the
transfer case blew the chain, the boss fixed it..FREE. A little after
that, after the guy changed the plugs on his own, it lunched one of
them. The boss fixed it...FREE (that was about a $500 repair, and it was
almost certain the guy did something wrong!)
Remember the old saying, The squeaky wheel gets greased! ;)
