It's no where near thick enough for the front, and i do have another bar that looks very close to right shape the front, but i haven't tried to fit it just yet, probabbly today. As far as the brace, yeah thats what i said when i unwrapped it, WTF is this? theres nothing on this car that has this mounting set up. lol anyone else have any ideas?

Looks like way too much bend for a front mk3 bar, I haven't had the rear off in a year or so but it looks a little thick to be a rear bar to me.
That brace isn't for the hatch area is it? The bolt holes are strange, having two side by side holes on that flange. I thought it was a lower bar like the JIC one that fits between the front control arms but the flange/bolt pattern is wrong for that.

thanks for the pic, but i know there not ST, thats what i have on my 89, and the end link style is completely different The fitment issue of the bar is the drop it seems to have to it, the ST and stock MA70 stay flat where this one makes a verticle drop, or rise (depending on which way you put it on) around the strut area.
