Looks like way too much bend for a front mk3 bar, I haven't had the rear
off in a year or so but it looks a little thick to be a rear bar to me.
That brace isn't for the hatch area is it? The bolt holes are strange,
having two side by side holes on that flange. I thought it was a lower
bar like the JIC one that fits between the front control arms but the
flange/bolt pattern is wrong for that.

thanks for the pic, but i know there not ST, thats what i have on my 89,
and the end link style is completely different The fitment issue of the
bar is the drop it seems to have to it, the ST and stock MA70 stay flat
where this one makes a verticle drop, or rise (depending on which way
you put it on) around the strut area.
