I actually just started up the car and its running good again. As a temporary fix I jbwelded the ks in the rear back together and sure as u know what she started right up and is running good again. I also isolated some leaks yesterday with a new rig I made to test for leaks using my compressor. On top of all this, guess what caused my timing belt to start and walk? the gear on left side had myseriously loosened up so that soon the gear would of came completely off, I tightened it up and the belt is back in alignment.
If I was just a little bit more paranoid I would swear that the damn neighbors came over and savataged the car to get rid of the excessive exhaust noises around here, lol ...
Ive got a new ks on order and will start scavenging junkyards for a cheaper source. I have never witnessed such a bad case of exhaust overheating due to timing.
Thanks for all the input. It looks like Im back to boosting although a bit more cautiously.

Are the knock sensors actually broken?? There are two and they both wouldn't break. It almost sounds more like a boost leak and you were trying to push it. That is where I would start looking first. The hesitation, the not wanting to run, overworking the turbo. If your car backfires it will jump teeth on the t-belt and if it was missing and hesitating that is very possible. What codes did you get?

I had to make use of AAA again this weekend.
Im still waiting to go more than a month without having to work on the supra.
Bad thing happened this weekend. My knock sensor broke on the highway, car started running like crap, at first just hesitating and missing then like I was running out of gas, finally I was struggling to go even 60mph, I probably went 20 miles before I pulled over to find my exhaust and turbo housing glowing red hot,,yikes. I believe it pulled timing back soo much it caused all the heat.

So today Im trying to figure out wtf happened besides the ks, Im looking around and now I see my timing belt is shredded on the back edge and looks like its walking toward the back of the motor. It looks like I will be ordering a new belt and tensioner, anyone know what causes the belt to walk?

To top all of this off my parking brake got stuck in the on position so the tow truck had to drag the car, Im thinking all the heat melted the brake line on. So today before doing anything else I took the adjusters off the parking brakes to disable them but I still dont know why the line is stuck, now I got the car rolling, it wont idle so I have to wait for the ks and I hope all that heat didnt cause any damage, turbo still spins smooth, cant tell what my motor sounds like because I was going to get the exhaust on this next week so now its still just a open dp.
Sigh, Supras are like good looking women, High maintenance and its hard to live with or without them.
