[Supras] A few issues....

Thanks Jeff!

Well I have had the replacement rack sitting on the shelf for about a year,
just never got around to doing it until now as I'm doing a complete
overhaul/rebuild.
Therefore, what else besides the seals should I be looking for? Also, any
suggestions on a good set of suspension bushings while I'm down there?

Just did it myself -not too bad a job. Things you should know ....

- you should consider changing at least the high pressure hose while your
there - I didn't and had to change it 6 weeks latter. The routing requires
that you unbolt the rack (again) to change it - so think about doing it at
the same time.

- you'll need an alignment - I know it's an obvious statement but factor it
into your budget.

- when I was looking for my replacement rack the local parts store (Long
Island NY) could find only one anywhere within 150 miles - and no one knew
when it was rebuilt. The problem is that if the rack sits on the shelf too
long without being used the seals can dry out - when you hook it up to your
car it leaks - then you have to do it again. I wound up having mine sent
out
and returned to me - took an extra 48 hours but I got a fresh rebuild.

Good Luck.
