No, you don't --have-- to use dealer parts. Some might say they're better, and they're probably right! I've always bought genuine Toyota upper/lower radiator hoses and those 90* bypass hoses. They're a better fit than most aftermarket parts. It's a tough call when you're on a tight budget! If you go aftermarket, just be sure to check or replace them more often (yearly) so you don't get stranded by surprise!!

Thanks very much to everyone that replied. I was able to replace the PS
line.
My next question is, do I have to use dealer parts for the oil cooler hoses,
lower rad hose, turbo coolant hose, ps return hose and the coolant hose
under the thermostat housing?
I took all these hoses to the local Discount Advance Auto parts store here
in Tampa and the guy didn't have any of these but he showed me some
substitue hoses I can use but they're different shape than the original.
I priced these online at Jay Marks and they're about $200.00 when Discount
is probably $100.
Opinions please.
Thanks very much guys.
