I can't belive I haven't seen a single post regarding the "biggest Supra 
event
on the planet". Did anyone from those list attend?

Come to think of it, I haven't even seen a post from the event coordinators
since the calendar went on sale...

I went.I thought it was a great get together, but my response is tempered by 
not having gone to the event since 1998. In comparision to 1998, it was much 
bigger, but I guess compared to recent years it has declined somewhat. I can 
say that the MKiii (and mkiv for that matter), showing at the drags was 
pitiful. Ant the matchings weren't the greatest. MkIII single turbos (stock) 
being lined up with mkvi single turbos (not stock) was kind of a bad joke. 
It would be more competitive MKiv BPU against mkiii, but you'd have to be 
maxed out on the mkiii stock turbo and most ppl just upgrade the turbo  
before they get to that point. The fun run drew 30+ cars, and only had one 
accident, one blown turbo, and then I started overheating. One nice thing it 
does reinforce how helpful people are in the group when another car is in 
trouble. I missed some of the ealrier MKiiis at the dyno, I guess we had 
some pretty good numbers. Next year we need a weanie roast as the Sound 
Performance car provided plenty of heat behind it as it went on to register 
1377rwhp.
Poker was great. We had about thirty show up (several no shows), and I 
managed to stay in past the first three kicked out. Who says supra owners 
can't play poker (not me {anymore}).
