Ok, here is the question. I have a mostly stock turbo. About 40,000 miles ago I replaced the head gasket with a felpro one. The car has run well since. It has a new radiator about a year ago, a new water pump when the head gasket went on, and a brand new fan clutch. When the weather started warming up the water tempreture started going about 3/4 the way up while warming up and then dropping to normal. So I changed the thermostat and that was solved. Now when I travel up a slight incline on my way home from work for about 5 miles it will warm up above normal or when I turn on the air. On the way to work and other times it stays at normal, after going up it will return to normal quickly at idle. So the only time it goes up is under a little strain. I have flushed it and changed the fluids but the problem continues. A compression test shows about 143 on the first 3 cylinders and 150 on the second three. I have looked at everything I can think of and am looking for
any other ideas before I decide to open it up. To me. it sounds like the beginning of a BHG. Are there any other ideas.
