[Supras] 88 AC issues

Chris,

have you checked the resistance of the stator coil? The resistance can actaully drop as the coil wears out causing it to draw too much current and blow a fuse (though I seem to remember that it's a 7.5A not a 10A....brain fade?....). Anyhow, the rotor resistance should be somewhere north of 3ohms IIRC (check the TSRM for spec). If it's too low, you'll need a new coil ($100).
