[Supras] 88 A\C issues

It's never easy is it? Under the passanger kick panel
there's a 10A fuse. It was blown. Thought I had it.
Put a new one in and it blew immediately. Even though
I knew better, I talked myself into believing it was a
bad fuse and then blew another one. Oh well.

My questions are:

Would a bad low pressure sensor blow fuses? 

The low pressure sensor is like $10.00 from Oreilly
Auto Parts. ($30. from Toyota) Do I need to worry
about releasing my expensive R-12 when I swap that
sensor?
