I do not know why I am receiving mail from the list very  sporadically...
The hose is a stock Toyota piece off of any 7M Cressida, yes, you can then  
remove the check valve.
 
The sleeve is made by Thermotech and is available in various lengths.

an industrial supply house that has many.  I bought  some hi-temp stuff to do 
just what Dean did.  It doesn't look as  good, but it did (over) protect the 
wires that get real brittle across the  front of the engine.

The engine harness cost something like a Grand -  if they're still available, 
so protecting it is a good  idea.
