[Supras] [SOGI-TECH] brakes smoking??

Take a look at the calipers.
Mine locked in the driver's side front and made a real decent smoke show.
Smells funky, too.
What had happened was the slider got stuck; the caliper itself got rusty and
the slide, wouldn't.
I had to replace that one, it was just too far gone to resurrect.
However, on the rest of them, I *GENTLY!!* removed the slide and the boot,
and then took a Dremel tool with a sanding cylinder on it and sanded them
down smooth, and then finished with emery cloth followed by 400-600 grit
sandpaper.
I also removed the pits from the slide with 600 paper followed by 1000 for
smoothness. Then I used either anti-seize or hi-temp grease, and then
reinstalled the boot and the slide. If you rip the boot it is not a
catastrophe, you can get it in a kit, but better not to rip it. It will
cause the problem all over again, only accelerated.

Good luck. This is an easy fix; I hope this is your problem!
