[Supras] Battery failed as direct short?

Yes, batteries go bad unless you have a trickle charger on them. I
typically leave a Battery Minder on my Supra battery 24/7 in hopes that when
I do need it...it'll actually be there for me.
Hopefully your battery was puchased somewhere that will pro-rate it for you.
I have received many new Die-Hard batteries through the pro-rate program.
Otherwise, hit Sam's Club. They seem to have the best pricing on batteries
with decent warranties.
