[Supras] 7MGTE in mk1 supra?

Considering buying a 79 supra..   I know mk2's fit the 7M with little 
problems but what about a 79?  Custom engine mounts, drive shaft etc are 
not big problems, as long as the engine will fit in the bay without 
cutting anything up or using a hammer.   I would also plan on using the 
R154 tranny.  Would it fit? how about shifter lining up in stockish 
location?
