I wrote the original Black Magic install and I maintain to this day that the
removal of the stock fan & clutch was one of the best mods I ever did to my
Supra.
The performance gain was significant...imagine keeping your air conditioner in
the on position for a week. Then take the compressor compressor and belt
completely off your car for the following week. The performance gain is so
clearly recognizable! Not to mention the improved cooling. Keeping the stock
fan shroud is key!
