[Supras] good rebuilt engines?

I would be hard pressed to suggest either...

Not that I have any personal experience with these guys but if you have a
local shop do the work you know that all of the 6 pistons are the same size
and that someone didn't cut a corner

Call me a cynic but I have seen small block Chevy's that had 7 10 over
pistons and one 20 over piston.

If someone out there has personal experience their opinion should carry more
weight than mine but I have installed both AC Delco and Jasper reman'd
engines and I have had about a 20% failure rate.

Bob

Subject: [Supras] good rebuilt engines?

OK, after being mostly absent for a bit I coming back.

Where is the best place to get a rebuilt shortblock from? Any
recommendations?

Ron's Precision Machine has them for ~$1329. Thunderbolt sells them for
$775.

I haven't actually made up my mind whether I will be buying a 7MGE,
7MGTE, or both. I have a 7MGE that is now junk and a 7MGTE that is
rebuildable though it does need a crank kit. I'm going to build one
turbo car and one NA, but I haven't really decided which one or both
gets the new engine. So I am trying to find out both who has the best
PRICES on rebuilt shortblocks and the best QUALITY on rebuilt
shortblocks. The NA car needs to be done cheap, the turbo car needs to
be tough.

My thanks to anyone with any help!
Matt
