Everyone on the list who has had a mk3 for any amount of time knows that it
is a project car.  It is a lemon, and it came from Toyota that way.

I chose to respond and to continue to bash the mk3 despite your advice.
Perfection in a car isn't a requirement in order for the car to live a long
life with no problems by simply performing factory scheduled maintainance.
Ninety-five of cars ever built do not come with factory and/or engineering
defects.  I can probably continue this this thread as long as you like, and
Rich probably does realize that you are making yourself look really stupid
(and therefore probably will allow you to continue doing so by letting the
thread live).
