[Supras] Possible... or not?

Having just done this a few weeks back, I'd have to agree. It was
much easier taking the elbow off. Later when I went to replace the
downpipe, I had to use a torch to take off two of the three bolts that
mount the DP to the elbow.
Since Harley mentioned a leak at the manifold and power loss, I'll
mention my recent experience. Replaced both the DP and the exhaust
manifolds since both were cracked and helicoiled the head since the
exhaust manifold and some studs were loose. I also replaced the bottom
IC pipe with hard pipe and couplers instead of the original rubber
pipe and metal elbow since I found them slipping apart and creating a
boost leak. Next up, the upper pipes including the 3000 pipe.
