[Supras] Possible... or not?

You don't have to wire the wastegate open - it will freely flap open.  The
actuator is what closes it with a 6-lb spring.

But, getting that actuator off while the turbo is in the car can be
challenging.

Nope.  You can however, disconnect the wastegate actuator arm from the
wastegate (little e-clip underneath) and wire the wastegate flapper fully
open, but that's about it...

Is it possible to set the boost controller to not allow the turbo to boost??
So understand the question..... I think my turbo is out. It sounds like it
is grinding the side walls but it still spins freely and it doesn't seem to
have too much play. I was wondering if it is possible to do with out or some
how bypass it until i get a working turbo. I hate to do it... i know its
horrible for the car, but i have no transportation and at the moment no job.
