[Supras] Found Overheating Problem

How exactly do you "shim" the crankshaft?!?!  Never heard of that one before!  I have heard of the rubber in the middle of the crank pulley spinning and making it nearly impossible to get the engine timed correctly.  Only reason the crank pulley would come off is if someone removed it and didn't tighten it enough when they put it back on!  We're talking about 195 ft-lbs on that sucker!  Doesn't surprise me that some mechanics don't tighten it enough if they've been in there to replace the timing belt or something.

Glad you found the problem!  Sucks about the trans now!
