[Supras] Struts

Geoff will tell you it's a good shock w/ the stock springs that's the
best combination (he's probably right but I haven't tried that setup
yet) Sorry I don't know more, I'm still on the Tokico/Eibach setup and
once it shows problems I'll look for a properly suited shock.

If it's the boat-like feeling you're looking to improve on, IMO you'll
get a better bang for your buck out of replacing the stock swaybars.
Even with the stock spring/shock setup a stiffer bar will do wonders for
keeping the body flatter in corners. If you're worried about classing,
you can swap a front bar in stock classes (Scca) and both in SP classes.
There are various bars available. If you're only doing a stiffer front
bar, I would go with one that's not too much stiffer than stock to try
and keep the car as neutral as possible. The ST bar is the least stiff
over stock, whiteline is the most.

Hope this helps,

Brian W

While we're, sort of, on the subject. What is considered to be the best
spring, before going coil-overs, to use for the occasional performance
(auto-x, track day) drive? I believe my 87T still has the original
suspension at 187k+ miles and it is feeling boaty so I'd like to start
gathering strut and spring opinions now.

Cheers,

Mike, 87T
