[Supras] LED in rear lights - Supras don't like

I replaced the rear park lights with the LED's and then the indicator in the 
dash came on.  I didn't like this so I put back the old bulbs.  Is there a 
way to use LED without that indicator coming on?

I noticed the LED bulbs are not brighter than the normal bulbs.  I've always 
thought they would be brighter but I did notice that the LED's are quicker.
