If you want to further the LED install....
 
2 X 3022-x9 LED Festoon bulb - Red - $ 5.90
        Door safety lights
1 X 3022-x9 LED Festoon bulb - White - $4.95
        Trunk Hatch Light
 
To swap out the lights in the A/C controller involves soldering in new LEDs and resistors directly. You can also replace the Dome Lights with the 3022 festoon style bulbs I believe if you have an 89+, otherwise you will have to do like I did and mod it out to MAKE it take it (mine has separate bulbs for door open and map light now)
 
I also found that the green under dash light is insanely dim and sometimes I would accidentally brush against it with my leg and get a minor burn from it. I ended up replacing that with a $20 "Under Car" LED kit from advance auto. it comes with 8 LED modules so I put 4 on each side of the dash. These modules are in small 1 inch plastic domes and affix with 2-sided foam tape. I ended up cracking the LEDs out of the shells, drilling holes only big enough for the LED in the bottom panel and hid the wiring under the foam. Now my floor is very well lit and the passenger side is lit too and they are secure where I cant kick them off (a problem i had when they were foam taped in the plastic protectors. 
 
If you just want to remain completely stock with the under dash light then you could just replace that bulb also with a single LED bulb
 
The preceding are all currently running in my car and look great. Its worth it for the crisper colors and ease of changing your backlight color without stooping to painting bulbs that may potentially burn out. the LEDs WILL last longer than the car (unless you have severe electrical problems).
